The race being organized between the fitness club chain DiR, in collaboration with the Guardia Urbana knew the event would take some planning since it will be clogging up one of Barcelona’s transportation arteries, however, with the cooperation of the Guardia Urbana everything looks-a-go.

Any event like this always tries to raise money and awareness in the community, in this run, the goal is the Aura Foundation which promotes the inclusion of people with downs syndrome in the workplace. Also the NGO Project Home which a group of runners undergoing treatment to take part in the DiR- City Police Race.

Holi – is a spring festival celebrated as a festival of colours. It used to be religious festival of Hindus, but in last few years it has become popular with other communities and regions. Which basically means any race, creed, or social being, everyone’s invited. People sing and dance all day long throwing coloured powder into the air (it is safe for the environment!)
