For the entire month of October over 14 great restuarants and bistros from Sitges are giving an experience for the senses. Being somewhat of a gastronomy event. The event is held in the L’Hort de Can Falc (in the old town), and trying to blaze culinary trails.
Each participant will be taste a half portion of the representing restaurants dish, and either a glass of wine from the Torres Winery or a glass of cava from Torello…all for 9 euros!! Each day the event runs during normal restaurant hours.
A little history of the Sitges Tasta event:
The club was started over 26 years ago, when in 1984, the Sitges Tasting club was launched to aim at promoting local food, and business. The clubs president Toni Alemany explained that “this is a project to renovate food and make the clients feel like they’re visiting us in our homes”.
Last year over 2500 dishes were served, with an optimistic outlook for this years event.
